Core company activities are development, manufacturing and selling of Megasorb and GIGASORB multi-reversible  sorbents  and  sorbent-based  equipment  (sorbing  cartridges  and plates,  coalescence separators, response equipment) designed for water conditioning, all kinds of sewage treatment and removing of oil and other hazardous liquids spill from land and water areas.

Megasorb  Sorbent  is  a  nonwoven  polymer web  fabricated with  Strutto  technology. Web  thickness  -  25 mm,  Web Width  –  2,0 m. Specifc Density  -  0,02  g/cm3. Oil sorption capacity in one cycle – 36 kg by 1 kg of sorbent, in 250 cycles - 9000 kg by 1 kg of sorbent. Sorbtion rate - 2,6 kg/kg/min. Regeneration  is  achieved by  squeezing web  between  rolls. Usage  –  as  a  part  of  cartridges  and plates  installed  in  water-conditioning  and  sewage-treat-ment systems, as a response equipment (mates, cushions, cloth) to remove oil spills from land and – in case of thick flm – from water areas.

Sorbent GIGASORB is a Megasorb-based product produced by applying and fxing activated carbon nanoparticles to the fbers of the material.

Material and its manufacturing method are protected by the patent for the invention № 2356623 and the utility patent № 68920 of  the Russian Federation.  In  the All-Russia  contest,  arranged  by  the Fund  for  the Promotion  of  the Development  of Small Businesses in Science and Technology, the invention was awarded the frst prize in «Ecology» nomination. Thus, we created the material with a unique sorbtion (36:1) and regenerative capacity of Megasorb Sorbent and with added capacity to sorb a wide range of substances, which is typical of activated carbon, as well as absolute buoyancy and highly enhanced sorbtion rate.

Floating  guard  booms  based  on Megasorb  and  GIGASORB  sorbents can  perform  two  tasks  (containment and  collection)  SIMULTANEOUSLY. Thus there is no need to use skimmers and sewage pits. The collected product does not contain water. Data from  test reports says: «response equipment based on Megasorb Sorbent is better than all similar known equipment (such as Uzh, Anakonda); response equipment based on GIGASORB Sorbent possesses even higher properties”.

GIGASORB Sorbent was  exhibited on the Exhibition of achievments of Russia in USA (Chicago, 17-21.11.2009).
